Senior Quality Manager

SENIOR QUALITY MANAGER

Role purpose

ITP Aero UK are recruiting for a Quality Manager to join our team in Hucknall - UK on a full-time permanent basis

Your Main Responsibilities / What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement manufacturing quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Mentor Quality Engineers on best practices, fostering a culture of process excellence through continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and improve quality performance by analysing KPIs and trend data; support escalation and recovery plans as needed.
  • Manage and coach the handling of non-conformance reports (NCRs), conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, engineering, and production teams to promptly address and resolve quality issues.
  • Continuously improve performance through data-driven analysis, corrective actions, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and quality requirements within the business.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on quality performance, risks, audit status and progress of strategic initiatives, including Quality improvement Plans

Essential Criteria

  • Is a focused, pro-active, dynamic individual, intent on achieving objectives with a key focus on attention to detail
  • Has excellent people and communication skills with the ability to work with, influence and challenge appropriately all functions at multiple levels to gain trust and engagement
  • Has experience in problem solving and the use of tools and techniques
  • Has previous experience of working in a Quality or Engineering role
  • Is able to lead cross-functional meetings
  • Is able to work independently and as part of a wider team

Desirable criteria

  • Familiarity of Aerospace Industry standards / requirements - AS9100/AS13100
  • Knowledge of Customer Supplier requirements – RR: SABRe, PWA: ASQR01, GE: S-1000
  • Previous Audit Experience (QMS, Process, Product)

Who will I work with?

You will work at ITP Aero from its site in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire under the guidance of professionals with extensive experience in the sector in a leading company in aeronautical engines and components that ranks among the top companies in the global aeronautical industry.

  • Days – 37 hours per week working Monday to Friday.
