Senior Quality Practitioner (Learning Disabilities) Stockport, Greater Manchester – Full-Time – Up to £33,000 per annum
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Practitioner with specialist expertise in learning disabilities services to lead quality assurance in our organisation.
The role will focus on:
- Delivering quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting CQC-registered services
- Ensuring high standards for service users with complex health needs
- Contributing to policies, procedures, and governance frameworks within over 600 services, including learning disability, mental health, and care homes.
You’ll join our established Quality Team (since 2010) based in Stockport, working alongside a skilled department responsible for:
- Social care governance
- Data analysis to develop prevention strategies
- Trend spotting for best practice sharing
- Developing interdepartmental collaboration for consistent care quality
A key focus is ensuring inclusive coproduction—empowering users in medication choices, rights, and personalised supports.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead quality improvement projects across learning disabilities and healthcare services
- Oversee data analysis to identify systemic trends and risk factors
- Collaborate with teams to enhance governance, policies, and systems
- Promote best practice through campaigns and workforce training
- Work closely with CQC-registered providers to uphold service standards

Requirements
- Strong background in learning disabilities services or healthcare settings
- Proven experience in quality assurance (audits, assessments, process improvements)
- Familiarity with CQC regulations, dementia or complex needs care models preferred
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
