About the Role

Successful products are built on robust mathematics, accurate modelling, and continuous innovation.

As a Senior Quantitative Modeller, you'll be a senior individual contributor responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced mathematical and statistical models that solve complex business challenges and support innovative product development.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you'll own the full lifecycle of quantitative modelling projects—from initial concept through to production deployment—while working closely with engineering, data science, and business teams. You'll also provide technical guidance to junior colleagues and help shape best practices across the modelling function.

Based in our London office, you'll join a highly skilled Business Intelligence team focused on delivering innovative, data-driven solutions that create real commercial value.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing, developing and implementing advanced mathematical and statistical models
  • Deriving new quantitative models and enhancing existing solutions to improve business performance
  • Applying complex statistical distributions and Monte Carlo simulation techniques to solve challenging modelling problems
  • Leading quantitative modelling initiatives from concept through to production deployment
  • Backtesting, validating and refining models to ensure accuracy, robustness and real-world performance
  • Taking ownership of projects, managing priorities, milestones and delivery with minimal supervision
  • Collaborating with Data Science, Engineering and Product teams to ensure seamless implementation and alignment with technical best practices
  • Identifying opportunities to apply advanced quantitative modelling techniques to solve business challenges and drive innovation
  • Presenting complex quantitative findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Producing reports and visualisations using Python libraries and Tableau to communicate model performance and insights
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members on modelling techniques and best practice

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
