Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a major specialist contractor in their search for a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business which prides itself on quality and innovation, with unrivalled expertise in critical infrastructure projects.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be working on high value project at Hinkley Point. This is a great opportunity to work on one of the most prestigious current UK based projects.
This role will be a Fixed Term Contract employed position for a minimum of 2 years with an excellent salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the successful commercial outcome of this key nuclear industry project
- Commercial responsibility for the contract management and delivery
- Managing variations and changes with customers
- Working as part of an experienced commercial team
- Developing key relations with a range of clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Working closely with internal departments to ensure successful, profitable outcomes.
Requirements
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will need:
- Previous experience working as a QS or Senior QS
- Construction industry experience in a commercial role
- Strong experience of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts
- Good communication skills with the ability to influence
- An understanding of fabrication processes is desirable
- Experience of managing and delivering variations whilst retaining repeat business
