Senior Quantity Surveyor
Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire | Up to £70,000 + Package | 1 Day Hybrid Working
Kitson Associates is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a well-established and respected regional contractor to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead an exciting JCT Design & Build project circa £18 million, based across Nottinghamshire.

The Role
Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you'll take full commercial responsibility for a flagship £18m Design & Build project, ensuring costs are effectively managed from pre-construction through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
- Full commercial management of a £18m JCT Design & Build project.
- Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
- Preparing valuations, cost reports and forecasts.
- Managing variations, change control and contractual risks.
- Negotiating subcontractor accounts.
- Producing monthly CVRs and reporting on project performance.
- Working closely with the Project Manager and site teams to maximise commercial performance.
- Managing final accounts and ensuring successful project close-out.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of JCT Design & Build contracts.
- Experience delivering projects valued at £10m+.
- Excellent commercial and contractual awareness.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
