A leading specialist cost consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing infrastructure team, supporting the delivery of one of the UK's most significant and complex major projects.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work within a highly respected consultancy environment on a nationally important programme that will provide long-term career development, project stability, and exposure to technically challenging work at the highest level.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in commercial assurance, NEC contract management, and defined cost auditing within a large-scale, highly regulated infrastructure setting.

The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with project stakeholders, delivery teams, and commercial leads to ensure robust commercial governance across the programme.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Administration and management of NEC contracts
  • Auditing and validation of defined costs
  • Cost assurance and commercial reporting
  • Change control and compensation event assessment
  • Supporting project controls and forecasting activities
  • Building strong relationships with clients and project teams

About You

We are keen to speak with commercially driven professionals who have experience operating within major infrastructure, engineering, utilities, energy, or regulated project environments.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Strong NEC contract knowledge and practical application
  • Proven experience auditing defined costs
  • Excellent commercial and analytical skills
