An Opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor
An opportunity has arisen for the position of Senior Quantity Surveyor within the Contract Administration Team. We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to become an integral part of the Contract Administration Team, who will be responsible for delivering a wide range of civil projects throughout Rhondda Cynon Taf.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing bills of quantities
- Commercially assessing tenders
- The financial and contractual management of projects
- Assessing CE’s
- Preparing cost plans for grant bids
- Procuring services of consultants and contractors who will work on the project
- Tracking changes throughout the project and adjusting budgets accordingly on a variety of projects throughout Rhondda Cynon Taf
Qualifications and Requirements
You must possess a Level 6 or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or a relevant subject and a professional qualification such as MRICS, MCIOB, ICE or equivalent or provide a demonstration of working towards a professional qualification. Position Details
- Location: The Council’s newly constructed, modern headquarters in the centre of Pontypridd
