Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyors & Associate Directors – Multi-Disciplinary Construction Consultancy

A national, multi-disciplinary Construction Consultancy working closely with a major infrastructure client is recruiting Senior Quantity Surveyors and Associate Directors across the UK for large-scale, multi-million-pound projects (energy, electrical, substations, overhead lines).

The Opportunity

  • Approximately 2 days per week (sometimes less) spent in the office or on-site, depending on project needs.
  • Junior management and mentoring of less experienced Quantity Surveyors.
  • Diversified role covering pre- and post-contract work:
    • Reviewing cost data
    • Conducting commercial audits
    • Administering contracts
    • Forecasting and financial oversight

  • Projects Control Lead – Manchester
  • Associate Director / Associate Quantity Surveyor – North Wales
  • Lead Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor – Birmingham (x2 roles)
  • Senior Quantity Surveyor – Bury St Edmunds / Southeast
  • South Regional Commercial Lead / Director (QS) – Bury St Edmunds / Southeast

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience: NEC contract management, working with main contractors or PQS, or from a consultancy background.
  • Industry Alignment: Previous exposure to infrastructure projects (especially electrical, substation, or overhead lines work) is highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills: ** Client-facing**, able to integrate seamlessly into team environments.
  • Availability: Willing to occasionally travel to site or commute to one of the listed locations.
  • Professional Accreditations: MRICS would be a welcome asset, though not mandatory.
  • Leadership Experience: Past experience mentoring or managing junior Quantity Surveyors.
