Senior Quantity Surveyor
Senior Quantity Surveyors & Associate Directors – Multi-Disciplinary Construction Consultancy
A national, multi-disciplinary Construction Consultancy working closely with a major infrastructure client is recruiting Senior Quantity Surveyors and Associate Directors across the UK for large-scale, multi-million-pound projects (energy, electrical, substations, overhead lines).
The Opportunity
- Approximately 2 days per week (sometimes less) spent in the office or on-site, depending on project needs.
- Junior management and mentoring of less experienced Quantity Surveyors.
- Diversified role covering pre- and post-contract work:
- Reviewing cost data
- Conducting commercial audits
- Administering contracts
- Forecasting and financial oversight

- Projects Control Lead – Manchester
- Associate Director / Associate Quantity Surveyor – North Wales
- Lead Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor – Birmingham (x2 roles)
- Senior Quantity Surveyor – Bury St Edmunds / Southeast
- South Regional Commercial Lead / Director (QS) – Bury St Edmunds / Southeast
Requirements
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience: NEC contract management, working with main contractors or PQS, or from a consultancy background.
- Industry Alignment: Previous exposure to infrastructure projects (especially electrical, substation, or overhead lines work) is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: ** Client-facing**, able to integrate seamlessly into team environments.
- Availability: Willing to occasionally travel to site or commute to one of the listed locations.
- Professional Accreditations: MRICS would be a welcome asset, though not mandatory.
- Leadership Experience: Past experience mentoring or managing junior Quantity Surveyors.
