Senior Quantity Surveyor
Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator
Role Overvie wAn experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator is required to lead and manage tendering, estimating, and commercial activities across a diverse portfolio of construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate cost estimates, maintaining financial control throughout project lifecycles, and supporting the successful delivery of projects within budget and programme requirements
. Key Responsibiliti esPrepare and manage tenders, cost plans, estimates, and Bills of Quantities for projects valued up to £5 millio n.Coordinate and manage bid submissions, ensuring compliance with client requirements and submission deadline s.Produce and maintain Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs), financial forecasts, and commercial report s.Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, variations, and final account s.Procure and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure best value and commercial advantag e.Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout project deliver y.Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to agree project costs and commercial strategie s.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and innovation within commercial processe s.Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality standard

s. Essential Requireme ntsHNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipli ne.Demonstrable experience in both estimating and quantity surveying within refurbishment and new-build construction projec ts.Strong understanding of tendering procedures, procurement practices, and bid management process es.Experience managing project financial performance, including CVRs, forecasting, and commercial reporti ng.Sound knowledge of NEC and JCT forms of contract and standard methods of measureme nt.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office sui te.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skil ls.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to challenging deadlin es.Full UK Driving Licence and valid CSCS Ca
