£70,000 - £80,000 + Car Allowance
Hill McGlynn Recruitment are proud to be working with a respected and growing residential house builder who are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in Kings Hill.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in delivering multiple residential developments across Kent, Sussex and Surrey while contributing to the continued growth of the business.
The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility for multiple residential developments from procurement through to final account. Initially managing two live projects, you will oversee one development in its final stages and another at procurement stage, ensuring successful commercial delivery throughout the project life-cycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Full commercial management of multiple residential developments
- Managing projects from procurement through to final account
- Producing cost reports, forecasts and budgets
- Procuring and managing subcontractor packages
- Preparing valuations, variations and final accounts
- Monitoring project costs and identifying commercial risks
- Negotiating with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Supporting site teams to ensure projects are delivered profitably
- Carrying out site visits across Kent, Sussex and Surrey
- Assisting with commercial strategy and best practice across projects
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within residential house building
- Experience delivering developments of 30+ residential units
- Proven track record of managing multiple developments simultaneously
- Experience taking over existing projects and delivering them successfully through to completion
- Previous experience working for both a residential developer and a main contractor
- Experience building traditional housing or low-rise apartment developments (not high-rise steel frame)
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
