Senior Quantity Surveyor
Senior Quantity Surveyor – Retail/Commercial Fit‑Out Division - London
Location: Central London - Travel Required
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and highly reputable construction services company within the workplace design, fit-out and refurbishment sector. This is a strategic leadership role suited to someone with strong commercial governance expertise and a passion for delivering excellence across complex, design-led environments.
The Role
You’ll be joining a business recognised for delivering high-quality transformations, combining creative design with robust commercial and operational delivery. With projects ranging from mid-scale refurbishments to multi-million-pound, end-to-end fit-outs, this organisation continues to grow its market presence and is now seeking a commercial leader to guide the next phase of performance and profitability.

Key Duties
- Lead the full commercial strategy across the workplace & fit-out division.
- Oversee tendering, pricing, procurement, contract negotiations and risk management.
- Ensure strong commercial governance, cost control, margin protection, and compliance.
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to shape commercial direction and growth.
- Provide commercial oversight across pre-construction and live project delivery.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing commercial team.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and the wider supply chain.
About You
- Significant experience in commercial leadership within fit-out, workplace design, D&B, or construction.
- Strong track record of improving commercial outcomes and protecting project profitability.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills.
- Confident operating at board and client level.
- A collaborative, people-focused leader who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment.
