Senior Quantity Surveyor
Contractor
An established and highly respected engineering and construction business is seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
This is a contract role working in an established team delivering high-value, complex nuclear projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring successful commercial outcomes across major projects
- Managing commercial activities from contract award through to final account
- Administering and negotiating variations and contract changes
- Working collaboratively within an experienced commercial team
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Liaising with internal departments to support profitable project delivery

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Strong background in a commercial role within the construction or engineering sector
- Solid working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence and build long-term client relationships
- Understanding of fabrication processes (desirable)
- Experience managing variations while maintaining repeat business
