Senior Quantity Surveyor
Quantity Surveyor required for a leading property services contractor based in Winchester
An exciting opportunity to join a brand-new Winchester City Council contract delivering responsive repairs, voids and planned maintenance.
Job Description
As a Quantity Surveyor based in Winchester, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of a long-term social housing repairs and maintenance contract.
- Managing the commercial performance of responsive repairs, voids and planned maintenance projects across the Winchester contract.
- Preparing valuations, applications for payment, variations, CVRs and final accounts to ensure commercial performance is maintained.
- Procuring and managing subcontractors, negotiating accounts and maintaining strong supply chain relationships.
- Working closely with operational teams, clients and stakeholders across Winchester to identify commercial risks and maximise profitability.
- Supporting the successful mobilisation and ongoing delivery of a high-profile local authority contract.

Skills & Qualifications
- Previous Quantity Surveyor experience within social housing, repairs & maintenance or planned maintenance contracts.
- Strong commercial knowledge of CVRs, valuations, variations, subcontract procurement and final accounts.
- Experience working for a property services, maintenance or refurbishment contractor.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across Winchester and the surrounding area.
