Senior Quantity Surveyor Edinburgh | Landmark £80m City Centre Refurbishment Project | Tier 1 Main Contractor

Your new company

Our client is one of the UK's leading Tier 1 construction businesses, delivering some of the most prestigious and technically complex projects across the country. With a strong presence throughout Scotland, an enviable order book and a reputation for quality, innovation and collaborative delivery, they continue to invest in attracting the industry's best talent.

As part of their continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a landmark £80m refurbishment project in Edinburgh city centre. This is a rare opportunity to become involved in one of Scotland's most significant construction projects and play a key role in its successful delivery.

Your new role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for a major package of work on this high-profile refurbishment development, supporting the Commercial Lead and wider project team to ensure the successful financial management of the project from procurement through to final account.

Working closely with operational teams, subcontractors and the client, you will play a key role in protecting commercial interests while driving value and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
