Join our client’s dynamic team as a Quantity Surveyor and play an integral role in our esteemed Infrastructure division based in Leeds (LS25). We take pride in delivering excellence in construction consultancy services and are in search of a dynamic individual to contribute to our continued success.
As a Quantity Surveyor on our Infrastructure team, you'll have the chance to work on a diverse range of projects with leading clients in transportation, energy & power, water & utilities, defence, and highways. Leveraging your expertise in cost management, procurement, and contract administration, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of high-profile infrastructure projects across the region.

Your day-to-day -
- Undertake detailed cost estimates, tender documentation, and procurement strategies to support project delivery.
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters and assist in negotiating contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and value engineering exercises to optimize project budgets and ensure value for money.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to monitor costs, identify potential risks, and implement effective cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and forecasts to inform decision-making and support project delivery objectives.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to build strong working relationships and ensure client satisfaction.

About You -
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Ideally working towards your RICS accreditation.
- Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the infrastructure sector, preferably in a consultancy environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
