We are currently looking for a commercially driven professional to join our growing team, supporting the delivery of one of the UK’s most exciting nuclear infrastructure projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within a high-profile programme while developing your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Role Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will provide commercial support and leadership within the project team, ensuring effective contract administration and delivery of commercial objectives.
- Managing subcontractors and overseeing general project commercial activities
- Supporting and guiding junior commercial team members
- Delivering and taking accountability for internal and external commercial targets
- Engaging with key project stakeholders, including the client’s commercial team
- Ensuring accuracy and consistency of all commercial data, reporting, and communication
- Identifying and escalating any current or potential commercial risks or issues
- Maintaining compliance with company processes, procedures, and project execution plans
- Contributing to continuous improvement of Quantity Surveying practices and performance

Accountabilities
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong commercial awareness and experience within infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
- Degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent experience)
- Experience managing subcontractors and commercial aspects of projects.
- Strong knowledge of commercial practices within civil engineering or infrastructure environments
- Experience working within a project commercial team, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
- Ability to manage a small team while collaborating with senior leadership for guidance.
- Experience using contract management systems (e.g. CEMAR)
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Able to obtain (or currently hold) UK Nuclear industry clearance.
- Membership of a recognised professional body (RICS, CIOB, etc.)
- Chartered status (or working towards)
