Senior Quantity Surveyor
An established and highly respected construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing Hampshire team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a significant healthcare commission, taking a leading role in the commercial management and delivery of refurbishment and more complex projects from inception through to completion.
Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing both pre and post-contract quantity surveying services, ensuring projects are delivered successfully whilst maintaining the highest professional standards.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services.
- Cost planning, estimating and budget management.
- Procurement strategy development and tender management.
- Contract administration and commercial management throughout project lifecycles.
- Preparation and negotiation of valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Risk management and cost reporting.
- Client-facing stakeholder engagement and project delivery support.
- Working within NEC4 forms of contract and advising clients on contractual matters.

Candidate requirements
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Previous consultancy experience preferred.
- Strong pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying experience.
- Proven procurement experience across construction projects.
- Excellent knowledge of NEC4 contracts.
- Healthcare project experience would be advantageous.
- MRICS qualified or working towards chartership.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project stakeholders and work collaboratively within a project team.
