We're Hiring | Senior Quantity Surveyor / Associate
Location: Wigan (Hybrid Working)
Position: Full-Time | Permanent
MM Management Services is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Associate to join our expanding team.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-established, independent consultancy delivering high-profile developments across the UK. Based from our Wigan office, the role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, combining office, home and project-based working.
Whether you're an established Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career or an experienced Associate seeking greater autonomy and influence, you'll have the opportunity to lead projects, build lasting client relationships, mentor colleagues and play a key role in the continued growth of our business.
About the Role
As part of our experienced team, you'll provide commercial leadership across a diverse portfolio of projects, delivering expert cost management and quantity surveying services from early feasibility through to final account.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver full pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying and cost management services.
- Prepare feasibility studies, cost plans, benchmarking exercises and budget estimates.
- Produce detailed quantity take-offs using Bluebeam (or similar industry-standard software).
- Lead procurement, tendering and contractor negotiations.
- Administer JCT contracts, including valuations, variations, change control, risk management and final accounts.
- Lead the commercial delivery of projects across the residential, PRS, PBSA, mixed-use, commercial, industrial, hotel and regeneration sectors.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through trusted commercial advice.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
- Contribute to business development and the continued growth of MM Management Services.

About You
We're looking for an experienced consultancy Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to delivering exceptional client service.
You'll ideally have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Approximately 8-10 years' consultancy experience.
- Strong experience across residential, PRS, PBSA, mixed-use, commercial, industrial or regeneration projects.
- A proven track record delivering projects ranging from £5 million to £150 million+.
- Excellent cost planning, procurement and contract administration skills.
- Experience using Bluebeam or similar industry-standard software.
- The confidence to manage multiple commissions independently while developing trusted client relationships.
- MRICS accreditation (preferred but not essential).
