Senior Quantity Surveyor required for a leading property services contractor in Birmingham. Join one of the UK's largest social housing contracts delivering planned maintenance works, offering long-term career progression, stability, and the opportunity to work on a large-scale framework.
Job Description
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor based in Birmingham, you will take commercial responsibility for delivering planned maintenance and refurbishment projects across a major local authority framework.
- Managing the commercial delivery of planned maintenance and refurbishment projects from procurement through to final account across Birmingham.
- Producing accurate CVRs, cost forecasts, valuations, variations, applications for payment, and final accounts to maximize commercial performance.
- Procuring and managing subcontractors, negotiating commercial agreements, and maintaining strong supply chain relationships.
- Working closely with operational teams, clients, and stakeholders to identify commercial risks, control costs, and deliver projects successfully.
- Supporting the continued growth of the contract while contributing to one of the largest national frameworks.

Skills & Qualifications
- Previous Senior Quantity Surveyor or experienced Quantity Surveyor experience within planned maintenance, social housing, refurbishment, main contracting, or general construction.
- Strong commercial knowledge of CVRs, cost forecasting, valuations, subcontract procurement, variations, and final accounts.
- Experience managing projects independently throughout the full commercial lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships across commercial and operational teams.
- Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel across Birmingham and the surrounding region.
