Senior Quantity Surveyor - Defence Infrastructure Projects
Location: Barrow-in-Furness - 4 Days On-Site / Fridays Work From Home
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 + £5,300 Car Allowance + 10% Working Away Uplift + £1,450 Per Month Tax-Free Living Away Allowance

Package Includes:
- Up to £75,000 salary
- £5,300 annual car allowance

Working Arrangement:
- Site-based in Barrow-in-Furness four days per week
- Work from home every Friday
- Suitable for commuting or staying away during the week
Key Responsibilities of Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Commercial management of major engineering, construction and infrastructure projects
- Cost planning, forecasting and financial reporting
- NEC contract administration
- Change control, variations and claims management
- Cash flow forecasting and payment applications
- Procurement and management of subcontractors
- Risk and opportunity management
- Final account negotiation and agreement
- Building strong stakeholder and client relationships
Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Background within construction, infrastructure, engineering, MEP, defence, nuclear or major projects
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- NEC contract experience preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance is essential
