Senior MEP Surveyor

A well-established contractor in Essex is looking for a Senior MEP Surveyor to join their team.

Location: Essex (Head Office) | Projects across London
Salary: Up to £110,000+ per annum (depending on experience)
Package: Car allowance, travel costs, stakeholder pension
Hours: 8am – 5:30pm

The Role

An experienced MEP Surveyor is needed to join their commercial team, overseeing mechanical and electrical packages across a range of high-end developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing MEP packages from pre-construction through to final account
  • Cost planning, procurement and subcontractor management for MEP works
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documents
  • Liaising with internal teams, consultants and subcontractors
  • Monitoring project costs, variations and financial reporting
  • Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and programme

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an MEP Surveyor within a contractor environment
  • Strong background in high-end/luxury residential and/or hotel projects
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and packages
  • Ability to manage packages independently from start to finish
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Commutable to or based in Essex
  • Willingness to travel to project sites across London
