The role will also include mentoring junior staff, ensuring effective delegation and continuous professional development within the office.

Responsibilities

  • Cost leadership – Taking ownership of cost planning, estimating, procurement, and contract administration to ensure commercial excellence.

  • Commercial risk management – Monitoring performance, identifying risks/opportunities, and advising on corrective actions.
  • Contractual compliance – Ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, tracking changes, and mitigating risks—escalating issues as required.
  • Dispute resolution – Addressing contractual queries and commercial disputes proactively.
  • Reporting & documentation – Maintaining cost data, contract records, and client reports using TSA Riley’s proprietary systems and templates.
  • Client relations – Fostering clear, responsive communication with clients and delivery partners while managing expectations to ensure satisfaction and trust.
  • Team leadership – Collaborating with project teams to cultivate a positive culture, share best practices, and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Compliance & innovation – Enforcing commercial standards and contributing to TSA Riley’s risk management frameworks and future initiatives (e.g., benchmarking, continuous improvement proposals).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
