📍 Senior Quantity Surveyor Vacancy | 🚆 Major Civil Engineering Contractor
Are you a commercially astute and driven QS ready to step into a broader role?
We’re representing a major UK Civil Contractor with projected increase in revenue of £20m - £30m within 12 months.
This is a business that recognises and develops commercial talent – with both the Regional Director and Civils Director having progressed from Quantity Surveying backgrounds. Internal progression is real, visible, and encouraged. Staff retention is strong, and many commercial professionals have progressed into senior leadership and other areas of the business.

The Role
- Produce monthly Cost Value Reports (CVR) to track project profit, loss, and cash flow.
- Compare actual costs against budgeted values to spot financial risks early.
- Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, and final project payments.
- Work with the project team to forecast future costs and revenue accurately.

About You
- Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS background
- Confident communicator — able to engage with managers and project teams
- Strong commercial awareness and leadership mindset
- Previous experience and ability to produce CVR’s is crucial
- Comfortable taking ownership and leading jobs commercially
- Motivated by long-term progression
