An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take full responsibility for the financial and contractual performance of major engineering, construction and infrastructure projects. This role will lead commercial strategy from tender stage through to final account, ensuring contractual compliance, effective risk management and the successful delivery of profitable project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all commercial activities across projects from tender through to final account, ensuring financial performance targets and contractual obligations are achieved.
- Manage contract administration, change control, variations, claims, valuations, cash flow and final account negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
- Oversee commercial reporting, including CVRs, forecasting, cost-to-complete analysis, WIP reporting and risk and opportunity management.
- Provide commercial leadership and support to project teams, pre-construction activities, estimating functions and senior stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop junior commercial staff, promoting best practice, governance and continuous improvement across the commercial function.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in Quantity Surveyor position
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Strong knowledge of NEC / JCT / ICHEME contracts
- Leadership qualities / experience

Bolton
Permanent, Full Time
- Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week.
- Salary: £50k - £55k
- Must be Eligible for Security Clearance
