Senior Quantity Surveyor - Facades & Cladding

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + Comprehensive Package
Hill McGlynn is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established and highly respected facades and cladding contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Based from their office in Potters Bar, the successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of multiple façade and cladding projects across London, ensuring financial performance, contractual compliance, and successful project delivery from pre-construction through to final account.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing specialist contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work and a reputation for delivering high-quality façade and cladding solutions on major residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities
- Full commercial management of façade and cladding packages from tender stage through to final account.
- Preparation, submission, and negotiation of valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Cost reporting, forecasting, and budget management.
- Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
- Contract administration and risk management.
- Working closely with project delivery teams to maximise commercial performance.
- Managing client relationships and attending commercial meetings.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.
The Ideal Candidate
- Significant experience within cladding and facades (non-negotiable).
- Minimum 3 years' experience working on façade and cladding packages.
- Background working for a specialist cladding contractor or managing cladding packages for a main contractor.
- Strong knowledge of cladding systems, materials, and installation methods.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects and delivering successful commercial outcomes.
- Excellent contractual and commercial awareness.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively to a wider team.
- Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification preferred.
