Senior Radiographer – MRI

Role Details

  • Location: London Bridge Hospital Campus, including London Bridge Hospital, Canary Wharf, St Pauls, The Shard, and 31 Broad Street.
  • Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
    • 5 x 7.5-hour shifts (08:00–20:00)
    • 3 x 11.5-hour shifts (13 long days per month)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Salary: Competitive, dependent on skills and experience, plus private healthcare benefits.

About the Opportunity

An exiting opportunity for a Senior Radiographer to join the MRI team across the London Bridge Hospital campus, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.

This is a rotational role spanning:

  • London Bridge Hospital
  • Canary Wharf
  • The Shard Outpatients
  • 31 Broad Street
  • St Paul’s (upon opening)

Offering work within one of the UK’s leading private imaging services, the MRI department operates nine Siemens MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T platforms), providing specialist examinations including:

  • Neuro MRI
  • MSK MRI
  • Abdomen MRI
  • Cardiac MRI

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior MRI Radiographer, you will:

  • Deliver a high-quality, patient-focused MRI service, managing scanning lists.
  • Perform a broad range of MRI examinations.
  • Carry out IV cannulation.
  • Support day-to-day department operations.
  • Work closely with Radiologists, Consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to service improvements.
  • Assist with bookings and workflow coordination when needed.
  • Ensure smooth running of MRI examinations.

Additional Note: While Cardiac MRI experience is beneficial, it is not essential. Training can be provided, offering opportunities to further develop specialist skills.


What We Bring

What You’ll Bring

  • HCPC registration.
  • Degree in Radiography.
  • Extensive MRI experience (preferably in the UK).
  • Experience using Siemens MRI scanners.
  • Competence in IV cannulation.
