Location: Hertfordshire | Salary: £39,000 - £45,000 | Hours: 37.5/week (3 days, 12.5-hour shifts)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Radiographer to join our fast-paced and supportive private healthcare provider in Hertfordshire. This full-time permanent position is ideal for a radiographer with strong MRI experience to expand their cross-sectional skillset within a modern private hospital environment.
You’ll support a busy department delivering MRI, CT and general imaging services to both NHS and private patients, working collaboratively in a high-capacity team.

Core Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver MRI, CT, and general radiography services for busy patient caseloads
- Ensure patient safety, diagnostic accuracy, and adherence to clinical protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists, therapists, and fellow staff to optimise workflow efficiency
- Develop and maintain cross-sectional imaging skills, with CT support and training available
- Work independently and collaboratively to achieve high-volume service delivery
- Foster a supportive and professional team environment

Requirements & Qualifications
✔ BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification ✔ Must be HCPC Registered (or equivalent registration body, if applicable) ✔ Minimum 2 years’ postgraduate MRI experience (required) ✔ Experience in private healthcare environments is advantageous but not mandatory ✔ Ability to work independently, assess patients, and prioritise workloads ✔ Exceptional communication skills and strong attention to patient safety protocols ✔ Flexibility to integrate into a fast-paced setting with the flexibility to adapt
Note: Refreshers or additional training provided for candidate-specific areas

The successful candidate will be supporting a growing department, advancing in a stable private hospital provider with long-term career prospects. The daily shift pattern is 7:30 am to 8:30 pm* but flexible scheduling is accommodated where necessary.
(*Note: Some limited Saturday commitments may arise on-call as inductions stabilise—this is not routine.
