Senior Rail Construction Engineer

Are you an experienced Senior Rail Engineer looking for your next opportunity?
Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Rail Engineer to support and lead rail renewal projects across the Newcastle area, focusing on S&C and Plain Line renewals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Rail Renewals (S&C & Plain Line)
- Strong knowledge of tamping, stressing and track geometry
- Experience using 3D Dozer systems
- Competent with Total Station setting out
- Ability to lead and mentor site engineering teams
- Strong understanding of health & safety, quality and site documentation

- Oversee S&C and Plain Line renewal works
- Ensure works are delivered in line with design specifications
- Manage engineering records and site documentation
- Support and develop junior engineers
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and compliance
- Liaise with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
