Fixed-term Contract: 12 Months (with potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role)
We have an excellent opportunity available for an Experienced R&D Technologist to make a difference in our R&D organization in Kraft Heinz. This position lies within the UK&I Mealz R&D Team. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting to the Senior R&D Manager UK&I. This role communicates very strongly with internal senior stakeholders.
In brief, you will be responsible for:
- Leading technically large and/or high complex projects through company process, partnering with cross-functional team
- Execute prototyping and product development in line with the agreed brief/experimental plan, carrying out required analytical and validation tests
- Creating and owning the execution and delivery of the technical project plan.
- Leading product portfolio management and ensuring product quality standards are met or exceeded
- Completing JTBD in your area of remit to drive value creation.
- Coaching and mentoring product technologists
- Managing budgets for projects and coordinating resources

Qualifications
- Bachelor or MSc in Food Science & Technology (or equivalent in related field as Biology, Chemistry, Engineering)
- 5+ years of experience in Product Development in Food industry
- Relevant experience working in international and complex / matrix organization.
- Ability to deal with complex projects and build effective partnerships with other functions
- Consumer & customer focus.
- Ability to translate science & technology into consumers solutions, strategic thinking
- Creative & energetic, flexible & pragmatic, resilient.
- Strong communication skills, influencing and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication in English
