About The Role

You will be joining as a hands-on senior engineer, taking ownership of the technical vision and system design for a major expanding mobile engineering division. They value engineers who move seamlessly between deep-dive debugging and high-level system architecture, to building beautiful UI and mobile applications.

Beyond driving Mobile Development, you will be working in cross-functional squads, collaborating with design and backend engineering to build out and add new features to the mobile application. This is a high-visibility role where you will set the engineering standards, you will also leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate system delivery.

Requirements For The Role

  • Own mobile initiatives from initial problem scoping and design through to launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Build and ship seamless mobile experiences that boost user engagement and encourage positive habits.
  • Champion the performance, scalability, and stability of our mobile apps in production.
  • Produce clean, testable, and maintainable TypeScript code using React Native or React.
  • Guide our mobile architecture to handle rapid product growth and a scaling engineering team.
  • Use analytics, feature flags, and monitoring tools to track performance and drive data-backed improvements.
  • Balance rapid product delivery with architectural robustness, making smart technical compromises when needed.
  • Work closely with product, design, and peer engineering teams to influence the broader roadmap.
