The role
We are seeking an experienced and consultative Senior Recruiter to act as a trusted advisor to our business leaders. In this pivotal role, you will move beyond transactional hiring to develop comprehensive resourcing strategies aligned with our long-term business goals.
As a pure generalist, you will be energised by variety and happy to cover all areas within both the corporate and tech sides of ITV. You will manage the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle with a focus on quality of hire, diversity, and market intelligence across an array of specialist positions. We are looking for a professional with strong stakeholder management expertise, a commitment to inclusive hiring practices, and the ability to represent our employer brand with excellence at every touchpoint.
Key responsibilities
End-to-End Resourcing & Delivery
- Own and manage the full 360° resourcing lifecycle for assigned roles, from workforce planning through to offer and onboarding.
- Deliver against agreed resourcing KPIs, ensuring a consistently high standard of efficiency, candidate experience, and quality of hire.
- Design and execute targeted recruitment campaigns to attract both active and passive talent.
- Partner closely with Recruitment Managers and HR Business Partners to provide line managers with a seamless, integrated resourcing service.
Sourcing & Talent Pipelining
- Proactively source, engage, and assess candidates through direct search and networking, evaluating availability, technical capability, and cultural alignment.
- Build and maintain managed talent pools of high-quality, pre-qualified candidates to support current and future workforce plans across all functions.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of both active and passive talent attraction initiatives.

Market Intelligence & Stakeholder Partnership
- Develop strong commercial and organisational insight to operate as a trusted resourcing advisor to senior stakeholders.
- Gather, interpret, and share market intelligence with the wider team, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of talent trends, competitor activity, and best practice.
- Collaborate with the wider Resourcing & Development (R&D) team on ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the Recruitment Manager in the planning and delivery of internal and external recruitment events.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Senior-level recruitment professional with a strong track record of delivering high-volume, complex hiring while owning and optimising the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle.
- Recognised expertise in multi-channel talent sourcing strategies and techniques to access hard-to-find talent.
- Deep understanding of employment legislation and resourcing compliance, providing trusted guidance and ensuring robust, risk-managed hiring practices.
- Proven ability to partner with and influence senior stakeholders across multiple business areas.
- Experienced in managing complex stakeholder landscapes, building trusted relationships through active listening and a deep understanding of both business and candidate needs.

- Highly organised with a strong governance mindset, ensuring robust administration and full compliance to deliver a smooth, professional, and auditable recruitment process.
- Proven capability in designing and implementing effective selection frameworks, including role adverts, assessment exercises, and structured interview guides aligned to job criteria and organisational values, utilising competency-based, scenario-based, and motivational methodologies.
- Operates beyond internal organisational boundaries, constructively challenging and influencing hiring managers to drive strategic, future-focused hiring decisions.
- Proactive, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Methodical and delivery-focused, with a strong track record of achieving key targets under pressure and within tight timelines across multiple, concurrent requisitions.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of innovative sourcing methodologies, with a demonstrable ability to build and leverage professional networks to access high-quality, diverse talent.
- Champions an exceptional candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering Diversity & Inclusion–focused attraction initiatives, embedding inclusive hiring practices throughout the resourcing process.
- Employer branding/Canva experience would be a plus.
