Senior Recruiter, Engineering
Our Mission
At Omnea, we’re reinventing how enterprise businesses operate, starting with the most painful parts: procurement—where a single purchase can drag on for months, trigger 50+ emails, and pull in Finance, Legal, Security, and IT just to get something approved.
We’ve raised $75M from Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners, and Accel to change that. Our AI-native platform connects every person, step, and system so buying is fast, safe, and efficient—with:
- One place to request
- Automated approvals and renewals
- Real-time supplier risk
- Complete spend visibility
The opportunity is massive. Every enterprise on the planet has this problem, and no one has solved it. We’ve 10x’d ARR to double-digit millions in 18 months and are trusted by global enterprises like Spotify, MongoDB, Monzo, and Albertsons. We’re now:
- The 4th fastest-growing startup in Europe
- The Sunday Times' #1 Best Medium Sized Tech Company To Work For
Our team previously scaled Tessian (cybersecurity tech, backed by Sequoia, Balderton, Accel, acquired post-Series C), and our leadership team includes:
- Ex-founders and operators who’ve grown unicorns
- Leaders who’ve shipped world-class products
- Executives familiar with high-level business operations
You’ll work alongside leaders like Ben, Abs, Sabrina, and Rebe.

The Role
We’re seeking a specialist engineering recruiter to lead engineering hiring at Omnea—not a generalist talent lead. We want someone who has:
- Deeply immersed themselves in engineering recruitment
- An expert-level understanding of the London market
- A track record of scaling an engineering team from 20 to 100+ engineers
You’ll work directly with engineering leadership, enjoying full autonomy over the hiring process. Own sourcing, pipeline management, hiring protocols, and candidate experience from start to finish.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role. Every hire you make will directly influence Omnea’s trajectory.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end engineering hiring across our 10 engineering teams
- Source, engage, and recruit Senior Product Engineers in London’s competitive market
- Build and maintain a warm pipeline of passive candidates (since top engineers rarely seek roles)
- Shape and champion Omnea’s engineering EVP (Employer Value Proposition)
- Partner with engineering leadership to define high standards for hiring, even as we grow rapidly
- Optimise the hiring process to reduce time-to-hire while maintaining quality
- Innovate Omnea’s candidate presence, including branding, content, community, and events
- Own your pipeline metrics and performance data
