Senior Recruiter – Trades, labour or civils

My client is looking for a Senior Recruiter to join their team and play a key role in sourcing and coordinating skilled workers across the UK. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone with a background in trades or civils recruitment. This would suit either a consultant with an agency background or an internal recruiter looking for a new challenge.
This is a new division for their business, known for plant services they provide to UK construction businesses. They have evolved and now offer 360 workforce solutions to their UK-based clients.

You will be an essential part of their resourcing team, as the senior you will:
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of their clients' workforce requirements
- Manage inbound and outbound calls with external site personnel and operators
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients
- Be hands-on with resourcing as well as supporting a team of 2 with service delivery
- Support workforce planning to ensure all live vacancies are placed efficiently based on project requirements
- Manage customer expectations and maintain professional communication via phone and email
- Promote clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders
- Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges

What we're looking for:
Someone who brings great energy, organisation, and attention to detail.
Essential requirements:
- A background in either trades, labour, or civils recruitment
- Has led recruitment teams or been a mentor for junior recruiters and looking for a step into management
- Independent self-starter with a proactive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail with a passion for getting things right first time
- Results-driven team player focused on achieving targets
- Strong communication skills across phone, email, and other communication channels
