Senior Recruitment Consultant
Senior Recruitment Consultant (US Market in Construction) – London Bridge
Location
Office-based at London Bridge (with ability to work from home one day per week post-proportion) US territory coverage: New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania
Salary & Compensation
- Base salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum
- Uncapped commission with six-figure OTE potential
- Flexible benefits:
- £40K–£45K basic + uncapped commission
- Ownership of a high-growth US territory
- Early finish Fridays
- One additional day off per year (birthday)
- Weekly snacks provided

Key Responsibilities
Market Growth & Business Development
- Lead and expand the US Construction (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania) market from the ground up.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with senior client decision-makers in construction, engineering, and technical sectors.
- Identify and pursue high-value opportunities through proactive sales pipelines and creative strategies.
- Own and manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from customer acquisition through to placements and contract negotiations.
Recruitment Execution
- Partner with industry leaders to source top talent for construction-focused roles.
- Drive customer success by ensuring post-placement retention and repeat business.
Strategic & Leadership Initiatives
- Initiate and execute a clear market strategy aligned with growth targets.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to scale the US business, leveraging shareholder experience.
- Be the ‘face’ of the grow in the Construction sector, positioning yourself as the industry authority.
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who thrives in unchartered territory, is ambitious, and loves shaping long-term success. You’ll have:
Core Requirements
✔ 360 recruitment experience, with a strong business-development background. ✔ Strong track record in commercial wins and growing revenue through sales. ✔ Construction or engineering/technical recruitment experience (preferred, but other high-value technical sectors considered). ✔ Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset—spotting opportunities before they’re obvious. ✔ Unmatched relationship-building skills and confidence in decision-making. ✔ Ambition and resilience to build a market that yields significant long-term profit.

Nice-to-Haves
- Prior experience in high-value commercial roles (e.g. executive, finance, or infrastructure recruitment).
- US construction industry exposure a definite bonus (but not mandatory).
