Senior Recruitment Consultant

Senior Recruitment Consultant – Private Equity CFO & Finance Leadership

Finatal is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to specialise in C-suite and C-suite-1 finance appointments across private equity-backed businesses.

You'll take ownership of your own market, partnering with investors and portfolio companies to deliver high-impact executive hires while building long-term client and candidate relationships.

This is a great opportunity if you want:

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver against your revenue target.
  • Win and develop new client relationships across the private equity ecosystem.
  • Recruit senior finance leaders, including:
    • CFOs
    • Finance Directors
    • Their direct reports
  • Source, headhunt, interview, and manage candidates through to placement.
  • Provide market intelligence and strategic hiring advice to clients and candidates.
  • Secure retained and exclusive search mandates.
  • Build and execute a business plan to grow your desk and market presence.
  • Support and mentor junior consultants while maintaining individual performance.
  • Use CRM and market analytics to drive activity, opportunities, and results.

About You

  • Proven recruitment experience, ideally within executive search, finance or professional services (though we are open to pivots from other sectors).
  • Highly commercial with a strong business development mindset.
  • Assertive, driven, and results-oriented.
  • A natural networker with excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, inquisitive, and energised by a fast-paced environment.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional standards and long-term relationships.
