Senior Recruitment Consultant
Senior Recruitment Consultant – Private Equity CFO & Finance Leadership
Finatal is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to specialise in C-suite and C-suite-1 finance appointments across private equity-backed businesses.
You'll take ownership of your own market, partnering with investors and portfolio companies to deliver high-impact executive hires while building long-term client and candidate relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver against your revenue target.
- Win and develop new client relationships across the private equity ecosystem.
- Recruit senior finance leaders, including:
- CFOs
- Finance Directors
- Their direct reports
- Source, headhunt, interview, and manage candidates through to placement.
- Provide market intelligence and strategic hiring advice to clients and candidates.
- Secure retained and exclusive search mandates.
- Build and execute a business plan to grow your desk and market presence.
- Support and mentor junior consultants while maintaining individual performance.
- Use CRM and market analytics to drive activity, opportunities, and results.

About You
- Proven recruitment experience, ideally within executive search, finance or professional services (though we are open to pivots from other sectors).
- Highly commercial with a strong business development mindset.
- Assertive, driven, and results-oriented.
- A natural networker with excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, inquisitive, and energised by a fast-paced environment.
- Committed to delivering exceptional standards and long-term relationships.
