Sales Recruitment Consultant - Altius Talent | Bristol | US Freight & Logistics Market
Altius Talent is hiring a high-performing Recruitment Consultant to specialise in sales recruitment across the US freight forwarding and logistics industry.
This is not a high-volume, low-value recruitment desk. You will focus on headhunting proven sales professionals, business development leaders and commercial executives for some of the most ambitious freight and logistics businesses in the United States.
Our average placement fee is approximately £15,000, giving you the opportunity to build a highly profitable desk and earn substantial commission.
The Role
You will manage the full recruitment process across sales and commercial appointments, including:
- Business Development Managers
- Regional Sales Managers
- National Account Managers
- Sales Directors
- Vice Presidents of Sales
- Chief Commercial Officers
You will proactively identify and headhunt the strongest sales talent in the market, build long-term relationships with senior candidates and develop partnerships with freight forwarders, logistics providers and supply chain businesses across the United States.
This is a true headhunting role. The best candidates are rarely applying to adverts, so you will be expected to approach, engage and influence high-performing professionals who are succeeding in their current positions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
