About the Role

As a Senior Recruiter with Hays, you will be given the tools to succeed as well as having access to the UK’s largest database of candidates and clients. Hays have invested millions into their technology over the years and are currently innovating our technology platforms in partnership with Cognizant, to simplify your day-to-day role. As an experienced Recruiter you will be using a natural sales ability to engage with your clients and candidate, creating a lifelong partnership with them. You will be advising clients as to the market conditions, candidates available, and best process.

Procurement & Supply Chain is a strategic discipline with Hays as your clients and candidates could be responsible for buying recruitment services, so lifelong partnership is crucial to this area of the business. Not only could you be filling vacancies for your clients, you will also be obtaining and following up on broader leads such as PSL agreements, MSP models, and RPO contracts.

This partnership allows our consultants a competitive approach to market, providing opportunities to attend and host local industry leading events and subsequently engage with the procurement community as a trusted recruitment partner.

Responsibilities

  • Nurture existing client relationships with key Procurement contacts within London’s public sector.
  • Responsible for winning new clients with successful vacancy fills and contractual bids.
  • Act as a lifelong partner to your candidates through high-quality service, excellent communication, and matching of candidate skill-sets to client needs.
  • Engage with people of all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Show resilience and have good telephone and email manners.
  • Be naturally confident and not phone-shy.

About the Team

The Hays London City team also created a brand new “women in procurement” networking group and have hosted 3 very successful events over the last year, with much more in the pipeline that you would be able to get involved in.
