Senior Recruitment Consultant - Insurance
Senior Consultant – Insurance Underwriting – London – Perm
£40,000 + depending on experience
Due to continued growth across our Insurance specialism, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Consultant to join our London business and take ownership of a highly active Underwriting permanent desk. This is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Consultant or above who is looking to step into a mature, well networked market with strong client engagement, consistent demand, and significant long term earning potential.
The desk operates across a broad portfolio of clients within the Lloyd’s, London Market and wider General Insurance sectors, with established relationships across major carriers, MGAs, and specialty insurers. This is a well developed, high performing area of the business, evidenced by 13 placements in the last 13 months, generating £196k in billings. The market remains relationship led and reputation driven, with clients valuing specialist knowledge, strong service delivery, and consistency.

You will inherit a warm desk with ongoing mandates and trusted relationships already in place. We have successfully filled roles with leading organisations including Chubb, Auto Protect, CK Re, Cameron Specialty, Clear, IUA, Landmark, Navigator, Ryan Specialty, White Bear, and Zurich. There is substantial opportunity to continue deepening these partnerships while also expanding into new segments of the Underwriting market.
You will work alongside a highly collaborative Insurance team known for its strong performance, high standards, and supportive culture. We place significant emphasis on development and provide structured progression pathways for consultants ready to elevate their careers. The Insurance division continues to perform strongly, supported by robust market activity and a healthy pipeline of future hiring needs across Underwriting and Specialty classes.
