Senior Recruitment Consultant – Ecommerce Perm Desk
London | 3 days a week in office
£32,000 - £43,000 depending on experience + commission
Online spend keeps climbing, brands keep going D2C and every retailer is racing to catch up. Ecommerce isn't just growing, it's rewriting how brands sell full stop. We are looking for someone to build out a desk in this space.
We're looking for someone who wants to build a career recruiting in this space, joining our marketing perm division while carving out their own patch.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Running your own 360 desk, which means sourcing, pitching, interviewing, negotiating, and closing, placing brilliant people into brilliant permanent roles like Ecommerce Managers and Head of Ecommerce.
- One day you're placing a trading manager for a fast-growing D2C brand, the next you're helping a retailer build out their ecommerce team. No two weeks look the same.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
