PRINCIPAL Consultant | Health Tech & Life Sciences | Leeds & London | £35,000 - £55,000

RECSEEKERS is partnering with a global specialist search firm to appoint an experienced Principal Consultant, working remotely across the UK with the flexibility to connect into a London or Leeds hub. This is a young, fast-moving business that's already built genuine international reach, placing candidates across MedTech, Digital Health, Life Sciences and Nutraceutical Ingredients for clients ranging from venture-backed start-ups to established multinationals.

This isn't a legacy institution coasting on reputation. It's a business that's grown quickly, with consultants regularly travelling to meet clients across EMEA and the US, and a track record strong enough that clients return to work with them again and again. The kind of growth that usually takes a decade has happened here in a fraction of the time, and the flexible, remote-first structure reflects that same momentum rather than a rigid, office-bound setup.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What makes this genuinely different is the sector focus. Rather than spreading thin across generalist recruitment, every consultant works within a specific therapeutic area or health-adjacent vertical, building deep, defensible expertise rather than a mile-wide, inch-deep desk. That specialism is exactly what's let a young business win and retain multinational clients that most agencies at this stage would never get near.

The role

  • Principal-level seat covering MedTech, Digital Health, Life Sciences or Nutraceutical Ingredients, fully remote with flexibility to connect into a UK hub when useful
  • Genuine international client base, from venture-backed start-ups to established global names
  • Join a business still shaping its culture and structure, where internal promotion is real and leadership roles are regularly filled from within
  • Deep sector specialism rather than generalist recruitment, building expertise that compounds over time
  • Uncapped commission structure rewarding billing performance
  • A young, fast-growing business with genuine momentum, not a slow-moving legacy operation

Who we're looking for

  • Experienced 360 recruiters with a proven billing track record, ready to build real depth in a specific health-adjacent sector rather than spreading across a generalist desk. What matters is your ability to build client relationships that last, since this business has been built on repeat clients and long-term trust rather than one-off placements.
  • This suits people who want the flexibility of remote working, without losing the connection of a team to plug into.
  • If you want the momentum of a young, ambitious business without sacrificing genuine sector depth and client quality, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.

Please only apply if you're an experienced agency recruiter with a proven 360 track record, ideally with life sciences or MedTech recruitment experience, based in the UK.
