Senior Recruitment Manager – Offshore Wind & Engineering
Location: Wallsend (Hybrid considered)
Salary: Competitive + Uncapped Commission + Performance Bonus + Progression
About the Role

HVIQ Innovative Engineering is a specialist consultancy supporting the offshore wind industry across:
- High voltage cable termination
- Testing
- Fibre optics
- Project delivery
Demand for our recruitment services continues to grow, and we're looking for an experienced recruiter to take our recruitment division to the next level.
This is not an administration role, and it isn’t suited to someone looking to learn recruitment. We’re looking for someone who already knows how to:
- Recruit
- Build relationships
- Generate revenue
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Shape the future of our recruitment business
- Develop new markets
- Become a key part of our long-term growth
Responsibilities
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy through to placement.
- Building long-term client relationships across:
- Offshore wind
- HV engineering
- Technical industries
- Sourcing high-quality candidates using:
- LinkedIn Recruiter
- Job boards
- Referrals
- Your own network
- Developing new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
- Managing candidate compliance, certifications, and mobilisation requirements.
- Creating recruitment strategies to scale business growth.
- Collaborating with company directors to drive market expansion.
- Contributing to building a significant recruitment division within HVIQ.

Requirements
Applications will only be considered from experienced recruiters.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years’ recruitment experience.
- Engineering, energy, infrastructure, offshore, construction, or technical recruitment background.
- Proven billable history.
- Confidence in new business development alongside managing existing clients.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Strong experience in LinkedIn Recruiter and candidate sourcing.
- Commercial mindset with ambition for business growth.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Offshore wind recruitment experience.
- Knowledge of high voltage, cables, electrical, or renewable energy recruitment.
- Existing client/candidate network in engineering.
- Experience mobilising contractors for UK or international projects.
