Technical knowledge of Registration and Ceremonies is beneficial, but not essential, we will support you every step of the way to build your technical expertise.


Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Registration Officer, you will:

  • Manage the Registration Officer team to provide registration services and ceremonies, making operational decisions and developing new processes and procedures.
  • Assist the Ceremony Team Leader with marketing, communications and development strategies.
  • Maintain effective relationships with licensed venues, Celebrants, other local authorities and professional organizations.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and County Council governance.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of training within the team.

With no two days the same, you will bring flexibility, responsiveness and a steady presence, supporting your team to succeed through a wide range of situations.
