Senior Regulatory Compliance Officer
Senior Regulatory & Compliance Manager
Potential to become a permanent long-term opportunity for the right individual.
I’m working with one of the most credible and well-backed businesses operating within the digital assets space, looking to hire a Senior Regulatory & Compliance Manager to play a critical role in shaping their UK regulatory framework during a major period of growth.
This position sits at the centre of the firm’s UK regulatory strategy and will take ownership of one of the most commercially significant regulatory programmes currently underway within the digital assets sector.
The successful individual will:
- Lead the firm’s UK FSMA authorisation process
- Oversee Money Laundering Registration requirements
- Act as a senior compliance advisor to the wider business as the organisation continues expanding its product offering globally
This is a genuinely high-impact role where you will work directly with senior leadership and regulators whilst helping shape the future of a rapidly growing digital assets platform.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end UK FSMA authorisation process for digital asset activities
- Take ownership of the firm’s Money Laundering Registration and regulatory application process
- Identify control gaps and work with the wider business to implement remediation plans ahead of regulatory submissions
- Act as the lead compliance advisor on UK regulatory matters, impacting products, services, and new business activity
- Provide regulatory interpretation and guidance across UK and European financial services frameworks
- Support ongoing engagement with regulators, including drafting responses to regulatory enquiries
- Lead regulatory horizon scanning and ensure the business remains ahead of upcoming regulatory change
- Partner closely with product, legal, and senior leadership teams on strategic regulatory projects
- Support broader compliance advisory, policy development, and risk assessment workstreams
Requirements
We are keen to speak with individuals who have:
- Strong experience within Regulatory Compliance, Regulatory Policy, or Compliance Advisory roles
- Deep understanding of UK FSMA and FCA regulatory frameworks
- Experience supporting or leading authorisation/licensing applications within financial services
- Strong knowledge of the UK digital asset/crypto regulatory environment
- Understanding of digital asset products, crypto infrastructure, or custody solutions
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory change and provide commercial regulatory advice to senior stakeholders
- Experience working in fast-moving fintech, payments, crypto, or regulated financial services environments
