A highly regarded London Market insurer is looking to appoint a Senior Reinsurance Claims Adjuster to join its established Reinsurance Claims team. The business is recognised for its strong underwriting capability and collaborative claims approach, working closely with underwriting teams and clients across complex international portfolios.
Your new role
Reporting into senior claims leadership, you will join a close-knit team responsible for handling complex and high-value Reinsurance claims, primarily within Casualty lines.
This is a technically focused and stakeholder-heavy role, with significant interaction across underwriting teams and clients. You will be responsible for managing a lower volume, high-value caseload, ensuring claims are assessed, progressed, and resolved effectively in line with policy coverage and strategy.
You will be involved in handling complex Casualty Reinsurance claims within the London Market, working closely with Underwriting teams to provide claims insight and support.

The role will also involve regular engagement with clients and external stakeholders on claims strategy and resolution. You will assess coverage, liability, and reserving on high-value claims, while supporting best practice across claims handling within a collaborative and technically strong team environment.
Lower value and higher volume claims activity is managed externally, allowing you to focus on complex, high-exposure matters.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have proven experience handling Reinsurance claims within the London Market, with a strong focus on Casualty classes.
You will bring solid experience across Reinsurance Claims, whether Treaty and/or Facultative, alongside a strong technical understanding of Casualty claims and coverage. Experience operating within the Lloyd's or wider London Market environment is essential, as is confidence in managing relationships with underwriters and clients. You will be comfortable handling complex, high-value portfolios and working in a technically driven environment. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are key to success in this role.
