Senior Reinsurance Technician (XOL)
Company: Guy Carpenter Description: Senior Reinsurance Technician (XOL) We are seeking an experienced individual to join our Client Services Support team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Witham. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Senior XOL Technician, you will support our client base through transactional processing, securing reinsurance recoveries through timely and accurate system entry. For this role, you will need to have proven Reinsurance experience, specifically within Excess of Loss We will count on you to: Manage an assigned client portfolio, taking full responsibility of technical duties relating to client accounts, premiums and claims Work with Market Fiduciary to assist with collection of funds Manage all XOL post, brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, ad hoc reporting requests, and all transactional process steps Promote, build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets Participate in training sessions, and provide input within the team and/or department for all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with troubleshooting What you need to have: Insurance/Reinsurance Premium/Claims experience, ie; handling cash loss/large loss and a desire to move into the Reinsurance sector. Competent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications. Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of technical account structure. Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations.
