Senior Residential Support Worker
About the Role
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will support young people in various aspects of daily life within our homes, including:
- Helping young people continue with hobbies, social activities, and friendships, and learn new skills
- Supporting them to reach their potential and experience new opportunities
- Conducting supervisions for staff members
- Managing the home effectively in the absence of the Deputy or Manager
- Effectively leading shifts, directing, and supporting colleagues
- Managing health and safety processes, including implementation and monitoring of risk assessments
- Supporting the induction of colleagues into the home
- Being responsible for safeguarding and actively promoting the welfare of children and young people
