Senior Residential Support Worker

About the Role

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will support young people in various aspects of daily life within our homes, including:

  • Helping young people continue with hobbies, social activities, and friendships, and learn new skills
  • Supporting them to reach their potential and experience new opportunities
  • Conducting supervisions for staff members
  • Managing the home effectively in the absence of the Deputy or Manager
  • Effectively leading shifts, directing, and supporting colleagues
  • Managing health and safety processes, including implementation and monitoring of risk assessments
  • Supporting the induction of colleagues into the home
  • Being responsible for safeguarding and actively promoting the welfare of children and young people
