Job Description: Senior Residential Support Worker
Overview

What We Are Looking For
- Age: 22 years of age or above (to meet Ofsted regulations).
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience within residential childcare and working alongside young people.
- License: Valid manual driving license.
Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will:
- Accept children in a non-judgemental way.
- Teach children to build self-esteem and accept themselves, helping their journey into adulthood.
- Use life skills to create positive relationships with children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times.
- Engage with a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.
- Lead staff supervision, shifts, policies, procedures, risk assessments, rotas, and ensure placement plans and education are supported.
- Ensure the welfare and care of each child, and provide guidance and support to all residential workers.
