Senior Residential Support Worker - Salisbury
Senior Support Worker – Supported Accommodation (Salisbury, Wiltshire)
Supporting young people aged 16+ transitioning toward independent living is essential to our Senior Support Worker role. You’ll build solid relationships, teach life skills, and embed trauma-informed care to create a home environment where stability and empathy reign.
About the Role You will:
- Guide young people toward independence by teaching essential life skills
- Support with day-to-day tasks, schoolwork, and college attendance
- Deliver compassionate, consistent care tailored to the individual’s needs
- Apply trauma-informed practices to help those with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)
A Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is required.

Success Looks Like You’ll be:

Key Requirements
- 39-hour weekly commitment (avg.)
- 2–3 unpaid sleep-ins per week (bonus £50 per sleep-in)
- Rotating shift pattern: two-on, four-off
- Lone working permitted
- Essential: Full, clean driving licence
- Essential qualification: Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
