We are recruiting Senior Support Workers for our new supported accommodation home in Plymouth, Devon, supporting young people aged 16+ as they transition toward independent living.

About the Role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in guiding and teaching young people essential life skills, helping them prepare for independence, and supporting them with day-to-day tasks, schoolwork, and college engagement. Our young people may have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and trauma, and you will use our embedded trauma-informed practices to provide consistent, compassionate support.

Responsibilities

  • You will work an average of 39 hours per week.
  • You must be able to commit to 2–3 sleep-ins per week, paid at an additional £50 per sleep in.
  • The standard shift pattern is two-on, four-off.
  • During your initial training period, you will work Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, and may be required to travel.
  • Lone working with young people will be expected within this home.
  • A full driver’s licence is essential.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
