Senior Responsible Business Advisor - (Global Law Firm)
London | Hybrid Working | Competitive Salary + Benefits
Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Responsible Business Advisor to join their Talent team on a fixed-term contract for over a year (with potential to be made permanent)
This is an excellent opportunity for a Responsible Business, ESG, Inclusion, CSR, or Social Impact professional to play a key role in delivering an ambitious Responsible Business strategy across a high-performing professional services environment. The successful candidate will work across a broad range of initiatives encompassing inclusion, community engagement, sustainability, pro bono activity, and social impact programmes.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Responsible Business Manager, you will join a collaborative and purpose-driven team responsible for driving positive social and environmental impact across the business.
This highly visible role offers the opportunity to lead inclusion outreach programmes, support employee networks, manage flagship social mobility initiatives, and influence stakeholders across the firm. You will work closely with senior leaders, colleagues across Talent, Marketing & Communications, and a variety of external partners to deliver meaningful and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support inclusion, community engagement and responsible business initiatives across the UK offices.
- Partner with and support employee inclusion networks, helping them achieve their objectives and maximise impact.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, education providers and community organisations.
- Manage flagship talent and outreach programmes, including social mobility and diversity-focused initiatives.
- Coordinate volunteering opportunities and engagement activities.
- Collect, analyse and report data relating to diversity, inclusion and responsible business performance.
- Support the production of annual impact reporting and client responses relating to ESG and diversity matters.
- Assist with policy development and governance activities, including safeguarding and inclusion-related policies.
- Manage budgets, track expenditure and ensure effective programme delivery.
- Organise and support virtual and in-person events, workshops and stakeholder meetings.
- Lead or contribute to strategic Responsible Business projects as required.

About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
- Experience in a Responsible Business, CSR, ESG, Inclusion, Social Impact or similar role within a professional services environment.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and employee networks.
- A track record of delivering successful inclusion, outreach or community engagement programmes.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement.
- High levels of emotional intelligence, cultural awareness and relationship-building capability.
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
- Commercial awareness and a client-service mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Legal sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
